Overview

This is a controlled-contact interclub based on skill, not power. All bouts are closely observed and controlled on aggression. The referee will protect fighters at all times. All bouts are non-decision. Every bout is classed as a draw for MMA, Kickboxing and Boxing (excluding submission grappling).

Fighter Responsibilities
  • Listen to the referee at all times — when the referee says stop, you stop.
  • Protect yourself and your opponent. Control your power at all times.
  • Fingernails and toenails must be clean and trimmed short.
  • Anyone showing signs of skin infections, including ringworm, must not participate.
  • No earrings, hair clips etc
  • Respect your opponent, the referee, and coaches at all times.
  • Must have correct equipment
  • Be kitted up and ready when called. If not ready, the next bout will proceed.
Stoppages

The referee will stop the bout if: the contact or aggression level is too high, a deep cut is sustained, the medic advises stoppage, or a submission is not being defended (e.g. armbar fully extended, kimura taken behind the back).

ONE warning only. A second offence and the bout is stopped — fighter(s) will be disqualified.

Coaches & Spectators
  • Coaches may give instruction from outside the fighting area only. Do not enter unless invited by the referee.
  • Coaches to stay in one corner only, do not move around the ring/cage/mats
  • No fingers inthe cage at any time.
  • No swearing from coaches or spectators.
  • Recording is allowed but keep flash off.
  • The referee may stop the bout at any time regardless of corner advice.
